If you want to sell or buy on Secondsol, you must first register to an individual or commercial package. Secondsol allows users to place ads for 12 weeks, this can later be extended, deleted or deactivated. If you are interested in purchasing an article, Secondsol provides a way to contact the seller either by messaging the seller on the Secondsol platform or provide you with the seller's contact details.


Individuals and commercial users can start requests for free. Individuals can sell for free, however, commercial users need to subscribe to a package to sell. for more information on the packages, go Here.


In the footer of the newsletter, you will find a link to unsubscribe.


On the SecondSol page, go to the footer to find the 'Contact' link under 'Info'.


To optimize your experience on secondsol, We recommend you do these few things.

  • Please use the latest version of your browser.
  • Make sure JavaScript is enabled in the settings of your browser.
  • Accept cookies, this will help us give you a better experience on Seconsol.
  • Deactivate AdBlockers, this could disable some functions of the website.
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection.

Please only use images with the formats jpg or png. In addition, the size of 5MB must not be exceeded.


You will find a link to register on the top right corner of the Secondsol home page, open the link and select from Individual or Commercial options depending on the type of user you are. For the individual option, you get the FREE package. For Commercial, you can choose from, FREE, BASIC, STANDARD AND PREMIUM packages, finally, input your details to register. Go to register.


You can register for an individual or a commercial account. When you register as an individual, you have a Free package for buying and selling. And when you register for a commercial account, you can choose between Free, Basic, Standard and Premium packages. To find out more, go to register.

As a business supplier, you are subject to special legal regulations. There is an obligation to publish an imprint. Please make sure that your information meets the legal requirements, consult your lawyer or other legal advisors if you are not sure on how exactly the requirements are to be implemented.

The imprint contains the most important information about your business. According to § 5 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), a provider of commercial Telemedia must provide certain mandatory information. The information to be provided includes

  • The name and address of the provider, in the case of legal entities additionally the first and last name of the authorized representative.
  • Contact information that enables fast and direct communication with the provider (e.g. telephone)
  • The commercial register,
  • Association register,
  • Partnership register or cooperative register in which the provider is registered
  • Corresponding register number (if available)
  • The sales tax identification number (if available)
  • The business identification number according (if available)

This is a list of all your favourite products. Products added to your wishlist are fast and easy to find later. On the product detail page, you will find a link to add a product to your wishlist.

Deactivated ads are no longer visible to other users on the store. This could be used to temporarily remove out-of-stock products to be activated when you have stock.


Your ad will be visible to other users for 12 weeks. When the runtime is exhausted, the ad is automatically deactivated. You can reactivate an ad for another 12 weeks.

On the marketplace, we can have more top ads as showed top ads. All active top ads are displayed randomly. You might have to refresh the list a couple of times to see your ad.


There are three(3) top ads options to better present your ads to potential customers. These are:
Page 1 ad
With the page 1 ad, your article always appears on the first page of the search results, if the article matches the user's search criteria (under the label 'top ads'). If more than nine ads match the search of the potential buyer, a random selection of page 1 ads is made.
Eye catcher
With the eye-catcher, your ads will be displayed more prominently - with coloured highlighting. The eye-catcher is also visible in the hit lists.
Dealer display
With the dealer display, the article always appears at the top of the search results, if the article matches the search criteria of the potential buyer (under the label 'top ads'). If more than one ad has been booked to look for the potential buyer, a random selection of the dealer displays will be made. In addition to the selected article, other items of the retailer are also displayed.


Top ads make your ads easily noticeable to a potential customer.


With the page 1 ad, your article always appears on the first page of the search results, if the article matches the user's search criteria (under the label 'top ads'). If more than nine ads match the search of the potential buyer, a random selection of page 1 ads is made

Register first and log in to your account. Go to "Listed Ads" under "My Account" and select the drop-down menu by the ad you want to book as Top Ad and choose between "Eye Catcher, Page 1 Listing and Dealer Display". Kindly note that dealer ads are only available to Premium Package subscribers.


As a Premium Package subscriber: register first and log in to your account. Go to "Listed Ads" under "My Account" and select the drop down menu by the ad you want to book and select the Dealer ad.


Yes, you can book an advertising banner on SecondSol. Have a look at the media kit for the prices or you can send an email to SecondSol via info@secondsol.de. When you book the Premium Package, you are given one advertising banner free of charge. Not registered yet? Go to register.


Start a request and ask the seller if delivery to your country is possible, ask for transport costs and the delivery time too.


Secondsol provides you with some tools to make your products easily noticeable to customers. These are, "Eye Catcher, Page 1 Listing and Dealer Display". You can book these tools from your "Listed Ads" page with the drop-down menu on the particular ad.


Register first and log in to your account. On the 'Listed Ad' page, select the drop-down menu for the given ad and select "Edit" to make the changes.


When a listed item has exhausted its runtime, it transfers to the Expired/Deactivated tab under Listed Ads


Ad agent will inform you when a product that meets your entered specifications is listed on the SecondSol platform.


Web Services provides you with the tools to customise how your ads are displayed, on your own or your business home page.


Register first and log in to your account. Go to "My Searchings" under "My Account", and enter the specifications for the classified ad you want. Go Here to start a classified ad.


Classified ads allow you to inform the entire SecondSol community of your entered product specifications. Users with such products can contact you.


Due to security reasons, an ad might take a few moments to show on the website. So kindly exercise a little patience if you don't find the ad immediately after placing it.


There are a few reasons your ad may not be in your active ads, these are;

  • The runtime may be over and the ad has moved to 'expired/deactivated' ads
  • You may have deleted or deactivated the ad
  • We may delete ads after review if there is a violation, however, we will send you an email with reasons why the ad was deleted.

Deleted messages cannot be restored in the user accont. However, when a user writes you a message, we send this message to your registered e-mail address.


If the message is seen in your Secondsol messages, this means it was sent.


You can call the seller with the contact details provided on seller page.


The provider is given an email prompt, Informing him about your message immediately after you send it.


You can still see the seller contact details for deactivated ads if you have already made the request and continue communications.


Yes, to be able to get in contact with a provider, you will need to register first.


Yes, when a user writes you a message, we send this message to your registered e-mail address.


Register first and log in to your account. Open a product and start a request. In the request, you can send a message to the seller using the contact button or find the contact details of the seller. All communication can be found in "My Messages" under "My Account".

Secondsol is an online marketplace, where trades take place directly between buyer and seller. To protect the buyer, we have set up a rating system. Just review the ratings and comments of a seller before buying, so you can get a feeling for the trustworthiness of the seller or if there were problems in the past. Please also rate your trading partners after each purchase or sale to help other customers.


When all details of the transaction have been confirmed between the buyer and the seller.


There are private and commercial sellers on Seconsol, for information on shipping and return policies, kindly contact the seller.


Below are reasons why you may not find a particular message.

  • You deleted the message
  • Deleted messages cannot be restored in the message box. However, you may find an email with the message included in your registered email box.
  • You are logged in under a different user account.
  • Maybe you are still logged in with another user account. You can recognize this on our website by the user name in the top right corner of the screen. To get back to your messages, log out of the current account and log in with the right account.

Payment terms are agreed upon between the seller and the buyer.


Kidly contact the buyer and agree on a solution.


As a seller, you need to provide your company data, contact details and a contact person. You need to also check your local law if you require an imprint.


Be careful with the packaging to ensure the product gets to the buyer in a good condition
