The communication module Xcom-232i, which is equipped with a serial RS-232 interface, enables communication with a system consisting of one or more Xtenders, VarioTracks or VarioStrings. All data that appear on the graphic display (voltage and current on the battery, status of the auxiliary contacts, etc.) and also to change the configuration parameters. An Xtender, VarioTrack or VarioString system can be connected to various SCADA control and monitoring devices (PC, programmable logic controller, microcontroller). 

From a technical point of view, the RS-232 interface enables, for example, data transmission with a GSM modem, RS-232 bridges to TCP / IP or with a remote converter RS-422. The interface is also galvanically isolated. The Xcom-232i module is also equipped with a system for storing system data (data logger function).
