Description Xtender: 
With its countless functions, the XTM offers a versatility that has never before been achieved on the market. 
The inverter has an output of 3.5kVA which it provides even at an ambient temperature of up to 40 } C. It can deliver 4kVA for 30 minutes and even up to 10.5kVA for a short time! Thanks to this strong overload capacity, consumers with high starting currents can also be supplied without any problems. 

The battery charger has an adjustable charging current of 0 - 50Adc. In the factory settings, the charging curve is designed for lead-gel batteries. However, the charging curve is freely programmable and can also be adapted for other battery technologies such as Ni Fe, lithium or redox flow. 

The transfer system is used as soon as a voltage source (generator, public grid ...) is connected to the input of the Xtender. The switchover from the inverter to grid operation takes place without interruption and up to 50A can be transferred. Switching back from the grid to inverter operation is also extremely fast with a maximum of 15ms, which means that the products can also be used excellently as a UPS solution. 

The Smart Boost function supports the AC source with the inverter power. The currents of the sources add up and can thus jointly supply a larger consumer. The feed-in function of the Xtender can feed the required electricity back into the grid. This function is mainly used in energy storage systems where either the excess energy is fed in or a desired amount of energy is to be called up in a targeted manner. 

The Xtender has integrated two freely programmable auxiliary contacts, which are already set in the factory settings as automatic generator start and alarm contact. The Xtender can be controlled from the outside via the integrated remote control input. The RCM-10 module as an option offers a control input to control the inverter externally. For communication locally or remotely, various solutions are available with LAN, GSM and SMS technology or directly via the RCC-02 / -03. The Xtender communicates on the same communication bus as the MPPT solar charge controllers of the VarioTrack and VarioString series. With an optimally coordinated charging and energy management, the products complement each other perfectly.
