Zonnepanelen - Flanders registered 28.4 MW of new PV capacity in 2015

Over 1,130 MW of the PV capacity installed in Flanders comes from residential and commercial PV installations with a power of up to 10 kW.
The Belgian region of Flanders registered approximately 28.4 MW of new installed PV capacity in 2015, according to Flemish energy regulator VREG. This is down 33.1% from 38.3 MW of new PV capacity in 2014 and 49.1 MW in 2013. For comparison, Flanders installed 352.5 MW in 2012, 819.8 MW in 2011, 335.5 MW in 2010 and 459.6 MW in 2009. Flanders had a cumulative installed PV capacity of 2,199.9 MW at the end of December. Of the cumulative capacity, 1,130.7 MW is represented by PV systems up to 10 kW in size, while systems between 10 and 250 kW and systems over 250 kW account for 478.5 MW and 590.5 MW, respectively.
