Product description

The SolarEdge P601 is a DC power optimizer designed for use with high-power photovoltaic modules in SolarEdge PV systems.

The P601 performs module-level Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), helping optimize the energy production of individual PV modules and reducing losses caused by module mismatch, shading and different module operating conditions.

The optimizer also provides SolarEdge's SafeDC functionality, reducing the DC voltage to a safe level when the inverter is shut down or the optimizer is disconnected.

The P601 is designed for one high-power PV module and is part of SolarEdge's P-Series optimizer range.

Important: P601 is not universally interchangeable with every SolarEdge optimizer. SolarEdge specifies compatibility and string-design requirements depending on the inverter and other optimizers used. P601 should not be mixed in the same string with P370/P401/P500 models.
