The Sunny Tripower 25,000TL-30 three-phase inverter from SMA is ideally suited for commercial and industrial PV systems. The inverter has a high efficiency and can be expanded by means of modules. This three-phase inverter offers functions such as Integrated Plant Control and Q on Demand 24/7, both of which give positive results in terms of reactive power (reactive power).

SMA Sunny Tripower 25,000TL-30 features the highly advanced Integrated Plant Control grid management function. Integrated Plant Control regulates the reactive power (reactive power) for the inverter. Reactive power is necessary for grid stability. Integrated Plant Control eliminates the need for separate controllers, resulting in lower system costs.

Q on Demand 24/7
The Sunny Tripower also offers 25,000TL-30 grid management function Q on Demand 24/7. Thanks to Q on Demand 24/7, the inverter is fed into the grid at night so that it can produce reactive power throughout the day. When the inverter is connected at night, it uses an insignificant amount of active power from the grid to supply only its own internal components. The Sunny Tripower 25,000TL-30 can deliver up to 100% of its power as reactive power. At 100% reactive power, the feed-in power is 0%.

Efficiency

The maximum efficiency of the inverter is 98.4% and the European efficiency is 98.0%. Maximum input voltage of the Sunny Tripower 25.000TL-30 is quoted at 1000 Volt. The maximum output of the PV array is no less than 27,000 Watt peak, with a stated DC output of 15330 Watt. As far as alternating current is concerned, the 25,000 has a nominal and maximum apparent AC power of 25,000 Watt.

Safety

Overvoltage protection
DC overvoltage protection prevents spread of overvoltages in a PV system. With an overvoltage protection you protect the solar panels as well as the Sunny Tripower inverter. To extend the inverter with this module, SMA offers the DC Surge Arrester (Type II), inputs A and B.

In addition, the Tripower inverter has an unblocking point on the input side and has both earth leakage monitoring (suitable for all power types) and grid monitoring.
